Islamabad: The Board of Investment (BoI) on Sunday launched the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) Information Portal, along with two other online portal facilities called the Electronic Joint Venture and Branch/Liaison Office Management System, a news source reported.
According to details, the SEZs Information Portal would facilitate investors. BoI has been introducing innovative solutions for service delivery aimed at bringing transparency, facilitating Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and enhancing ease of doing business.
At the official launching of the SEZs Information Portal and the two other modules, BoI Secretary Omer Rasul said that the new portals would reduce human interaction while facilitating the investors.
With regard to the Electronic Joint Venture, Rasul revealed that this would be Pakistan’s first online free Business Match-Making Service within the public sector. He added that the portal would allow creating partnerships globally – facilitating both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) collaborations.
