Islamabad: The Board of Investment (BoI) has announced plans to introduce a new bill in parliament aimed at supporting small business owners and encouraging entrepreneurship in Pakistan, news sources reported on March 6.

The new bill is set to be introduced in parliament by the end of March and is expected to receive wide support from lawmakers and business leaders alike. The Asaan Karobaar entrepreneurship Bill will include a range of measures designed to make it easier for small investors to start and run their businesses. Key provisions will include greater access to finance, improved infrastructure, and more opportunities for training and skill development.

Speaking about the new bill, BoI Additional Secretary Khashi-ur-Rehman said that the government will ensure support for the small businesses that are the backbone of Pakistan’s economy.
