Islamabad: The Board of Investment (BoI) has decided to launch ‘Asaan Karobaar Programme’ and a dedicated portal to showcase the business-friendly reforms in the country, news sources reported on March 02. The project’s portal will contain all the information and regulatory reforms applicable for launching any business in the country.

The information about the Asaan Karobaar Programme was revealed during a meeting of President Arif Alvi with a BoI delegation led by Chairman Azfar Ahsan and including Secretary Fareena Mazhar, and other senior officials.
Reportedly, the government has implemented 112 regulatory reforms thus far. In total, federal and provincial ministries have enacted 70 reforms. All of these improvements were designed to help more than 20 private-sector business activities.

Moreover, the reform process has helped all small and medium enterprises. It was also highlighted that the portal’s launch would highlight reform accomplishments while also improving compliance.
