Islamabad: Blue World City is expected to be officially launched as soon as it gets the requisite approvals from the authorities concerned, a news source reported. To this effect, the project management has stated that it is awaiting the issuance of a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA).

Spread over an area of thousands of kanals, the development work in the project is underway at a rapid pace. Following the successful completion of the development work on Gate 1, the project management is carrying out the construction work on Gates 2, 3 and 4. The project will be linked not only with the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR), the Motorway and the road network of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Moreover, the Blue World City management has pledged to construct 5,000 homes and 50,000 apartments as part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP), which is aimed at providing affordable housing to the society’s low-income groups.
