Islamabad: The Design Vetting Committee (DVC) of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) recently approved four building designs in a committee meeting chaired by Member (Planning & Design) at the CDA headquarters on Thursday, according to news sources.

The designs of various projects were tabled during the session before the DVC, which approved designs for plot no. 3-D of Market G-7, plot no. 10 of Park Enclave, and a design for the Technology Park at Park Road Chak Shahzad which spans over 14 acres. The approved plans also include a ground plus 25-storey structure of Askari Bank’s headquarters in the Blue Area of F-6 and G-6.

The meeting was attended by officers of the CDA including Director Urban Planning, Director Architect-II and Director Building Control, among other professional experts. The committee meeting deferred a few design plans due to multiple drafting flaws .
