Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Monday (November 29) invited pre-qualification bids from the contractors for development work in the LDA City Housing Scheme Phase 1, news sources reported.
The authorities have invited applications till December 13 for the C-A category. The contractors will be engaged in the construction of roads, infrastructure development, and civic works in the scheme. As per the report, LDA has decided to initiate a PKR 1 billion road infrastructure development project in the scheme that would create a network of asphalted roads. In addition to this, the budget will also be used for the completion of development work on 1,000 kanal land in schemes along with the completion of missing links.
Recently, LDA had invited bids from qualified and established firms for the construction of a bridge at Butcher Khana Distributor along Chenab Road in Jinnah Sector, LDA City Housing Scheme. The last date for the submission of the tender was November 23.
