Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has invited tenders from established firms for the construction of a bridge at Butcher Khana Distributory along Chenab Road in Jinnah Sector, LDA City Housing Scheme, according to an advert published in national dailies.
The deadline for the submission of tender documents is November 23, 2021, at 11 am, while the tender will be opened on the same day at 11:30 am. As per the detailed tender request, the bids are invited on a single-stage one-envelope procedure under the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA-38-1) rules. The participatory firms must have registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-4 and with Codes of CE-1, CE-02, CE-09 &CE-10 only.
The tender document for the project is available on the LDA website as well as on the LDA tender booth in the LDA office Johar Town Lahore on payment of PKR 5,000 (non-refundable) fee
The tender will be opened on the same day as the closing date of the tender submission on November 23, 2021
Information regarding the bridge’s construction site and tender documents can be obtained from the office of LDA Urban Development (UD) wing during office hours before the last date
Firms will have to submit a 5% earnest deposit (PKR 3.898 million) of the total estimated cost of the project (PKR 77.593 million) in the shape of a bank guarantee
