Quetta: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Quetta has invited firms and independent designers, architects, and firms to design the gate of its grand entrance, according to a post shared on the authority’s Facebook page on November 25.
According to the post, the DHA Quetta is seeking engineers and designers to create a conceptual design for the project’s gates based on current trends. Applicants are urged to submit their designs, along with their contact information, CNIC, and supporting profiles, to the DHA Quetta office by December 20. There will be cash prizes and an acknowledgement certificate for the creator of the winning conceptual design.
In related developments, DHA Quetta has invited competent mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contractors to participate in the fabrication works at DHA Quetta’s Grand Entrance Main Gate Buildings 1 and 3. The tender document may be obtained during business hours from the office of the Director, TP&BC DHA Quetta. Tenders will be accepted until December 5, 2022.
The DHA Quetta has also stated that participating enterprises must be registered with both the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and the DHA Quetta in order to be eligible for the tendering process.
It further stated that any company or individual submitting bids for either design or fabrication must provide their complete profile with the appropriate documents before their respective deadlines to the DHA Quetta Office in order to be deemed eligible. Sending incomplete documents or missing information would lead to the disqualification of the firm and the individual designer.
