As per the details, the CDA Engineering Wing has reminded the FWO through a letter to submit the draft PC-I of phase two of Margalla Road – Bhara Kahu bypass – soon. It was mentioned that after submitting the draft to CDA, the authority will make necessary changes and present it at the Development Working Party meeting for final approval.
Reportedly, the delay in the project is leading to traffic congestion in Bhara Kahu for people travelling to Azad Kashmir and Murree. According to the details, the 7.8-kilometre-long bypass is part of the Margalla Road project, which is being developed as an alternate route to Galyat, Kashmir, and Murree.
