In addition to the beautification campaign, the district administration has also taken measures to resolve the decades-old encroachment issue, which has led to the demolition of over 400 shops, electricity and telecommunication poles erected unlawfully in several parts of the city.
Khyber Pakhtunkwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan released the requisite PKR 50 million for the several development schemes being executed under the beautification campaign in Tank. The uplift schemes are aimed to bring the marginalized city of Tank on par with other developed districts and cities of the province.
