Lahore: The Builders Association of Pakistan (BAP) has appealed the Prime Minister Mr Nawaz Sharif and the Punjab Chief Minister Mr Shahbaz Sharif to take action against rampant l land grabbing.
According to BAP sources, 1669 housing societies have been closed down due to the illegal occupation of land by the land mafia, encroachments on the approved passageways of the housing societies, and non-issuance of no objection certificates (NOCs) to housing societies from the departments concerned.
BAP has appealed the government to free the real estate sector from the menace of land mafia and take serious initiatives to save housing societies from destruction.
