Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has accelerated efforts to complete the Controlled Access Corridor Project on Band Road, as per a news article on June 27.

According to the details, a special meeting, chaired by LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, was held at the project site office to finalise an action plan for completing the remaining works of Package-II.
DG Farooq emphasised that the project must meet the deadline set by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif, with no tolerance for delays in constructing the service road.

He directed the immediate deployment of additional labour and machinery to meet daily targets. He instructed that the work on service roads from Saggian to Babu Sabu Interchange continue uninterrupted, day and night.
Additionally, drain cleaning and the transfer of services should be expedited. The meeting included LDA Chief Engineer Israr Saeed, the contractor, the project director, and representatives from NESPAK.
