Lahore: The Sui Northern Gas Company, Lahore Region has placed a ban on issuance of Sui gas connections to housing societies that have been declared illegal by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), according to a news source.
The news report doesn’t include names of the unapproved or illegal housing societies, but the LDA does share a list of illegal societies through print notifications. In addition, the official website of LDA also has the updated list of projects for which the authority hasn’t issued an NOC, or has rejected the NOC based on any number of reasons.
According to building bylaws defined for private housing schemes in Lahore, having an approval from the LDA is mandatory for the developer for the provision of gas connections and other utility services.
