Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal Khan on Tuesday directed the revenue department to digitise its land record system, a news source system. He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting held to review land allotment and record management measures in the province.

As per details, CM Kamal said that it was high time to digitise the land record system of Balochistan.
Recently, the authorities concerned across the country had geared their efforts towards land record computerisation.
He said that the province’s residents had to face troubles due to the lack of record-keeping system in the revenue department; which had created a long list of property cases currently pending for court hearing.
The CM stressed on addressing the land issues in the mountainous areas of Balochistan. He said that the profiling of records could help preserve state land. He directed to maintain good governance in all disciplines.

Further, CM Kamal instructed the revenue department officials to review all the suggestions and directions provided during the meeting, and asked them to submit a report to the CM’s Secretariat.
