Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal Khan on Thursday announced his government’s decision to organise a ‘livestock expo’ in a bid to boost investment in the pastoral farming sector of the province, a news source reported. As per officials, this event is expected to take place from November 18 to 20 at the University of Balochistan.

The CM said that this year’s expo will be the largest in the history of Balochistan. He said that the government had put dedicated effort into planning all aspects of the three-day expo arrangements and ensured that a fool-proof security strategy was also in place.

Adviser to the Chief Minister on Livestock and Dairy Development Mitha Khan Kakar said that the livestock expo was being conducted for promotion of cattle farming in the province and to increase meat production capacity of the country.
