Quetta: Provincial Minister Communication and Works Arif Jan Muhammad Hassani said that the government has set a review mechanism to oversee the quality and progress of the development projects underway in the province, so they can continue without any delays, according to the news sources.

The minister said this while on a visit to District Washuk, adding that he was certain of the timely completion of the development schemes in the province. The Rakhshan Division Commissioner Naseer Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner Kharan Khudada Khan, former Minister Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Muhammad Hassani, and other district officials were accompanying the minister on this visit.

He revealed that cabinet members are using all available resources to end poverty and unemployment in both urban and remote areas of Balochistan. The minister expressed hope that the government’s new era of infrastructure (including new highways) will prompt growth in the province. It was also facilitating the rural areas’ access to urban markets.
