Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) failed to resolve the longstanding issue of sector I-14 double allotment plots.
The balloting was supposed to be held for allotting plots to the individuals who either lost their plots during the re-planning of the sector or were allotted double plots. However, it was cancelled after 25 individuals raised protest against the CDA when the balloting was being carried out at Pak-China Friendship Centre because their names were not included in the balloting list.
Addressing to this, a senior official of the CDA announced the cancellation of balloting and said that the balloting will be held again after making available number of plots equal to the number of affected individuals.
