Islamabad: The ballot process for the Balochistan housing project under the aegis of Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP) will be held today (July 29) at 1pm, a news source reported.

According to the officials concerned, the Naya Pakistan Housing Authority (NPHA) recently finalised the arrangements pertaining to the ballot process for its PHA Residencia Kuchlak Road Quetta project. The PHA Foundation will hold the event at its head office, situated at Shaheed-e-Millat Secretariat, in Islamabad’s Blue Area.
Previously, during a session of the Senate Standing Committee on Housing & Works, Minister for Housing & Works Tariq Bashir Cheema had announced the said date for the balloting of the Balochistan housing project.
Cheema stated that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had inaugurated a project to construct 1,350 houses in Balochistan earlier this year. He added that PHA had received around 7,000 applications for the project.

The minister had also revealed that the government planned to develop another housing project in Gwadar. For this purpose, it recently allocated 200 acres of land to the PHA, he added.
