Bahria Town Karachi is truly a city within a city. A number of people from across the country, as well as overseas, have invested in the locality and are certainly looking forward to bagging monumental returns. I believe the time is not far for that to happen.
The developer has planned to hold balloting of plots, homes and apartments on September 11, 2015. According to Mr Sajid Rana of The Estate Arts, out of 16 instalments, six have been paid off by property holders. Only those properties that have paid all six of these instalments will be a part of the balloting.
After balloting, owners will be able to trace the locations of their properties and the rate of any property in question will be valued as per its address.

As you may know, the recent Rangers-led operation in the city against the land mafia reportedly upset Mr Malik Riaz, the man behind Bahria Town Karachi. Rangers officials claimed that the Sindh government had allotted land to Mr Riaz at nominal rates, an assertion he denied right way.
This issue spurred confusion among investors, which consequently affected sale-purchase activity in Bahria Town Karachi. According to Mr Rana, the issue also caused prices of properties to drop in the locality.
However, Mr Rana said he is very hopeful that activity and prices will start rising in the near future. Possession is expected to be handed over within 2.5 years.
During a recent visit to the society, I saw first-hand that development work is underway at a good pace. In fact, there was not a single site where development work was not being carried out. Now that the developer is all set to ballot properties in what is one of the most high-end housing communities in Karachi, investors should expect to see a surge in property prices.

I have paid my 5 installments as per the newspaper advertisement to Bahria Town Karachi project against the file 500SQR Yard.
This was clearly mentioned in the newspaper that Balloting will be done on the committed date but Bahria didn’t perform Balloting.
As communicated bahria Dubai Office, I will be part of Balloting but I should pay 5 installments in June and my installments should be updated, however i did accordingly.
Today I saw add one Facebook that Balloting is planned to be done on 11 September 2015.
When I called Bilal in Bahria town Dubai Office, he said that I will not be part of this Balloting because I have not paid 6th Installment.
This is not a fair deal with real customers which Bahria is doing.
I request you that please raise our concern with Bahria to make the name in Balloting.
Still Bahria want us to pay 6th installment then confirm customers through proper notices so that we can pay and part of this un-planned Balloting.

I assume all those who have paid their installments in full will get the plot number against their file.

hi all, it is unfortunate that bahria management fails to provide correct and accurate information relating to there projects. regarding balloting if anyone has not payed instalments or surcharges their file will not be alloted. let me remind you if any dues are outstanding in any shape you must pay them before balloting. i suggest to all bahria members make your payments on time as bahria is very unreliable on dates and execution. i had 6250 outstanding for one of the files as a result ballot was unsuccessful even though i had paid that amount on 18th june but they were not reflected in my statement on surcharges.

Only those who had to paid six instalments were supposed to be included in ballot.
