Karachi: The Malir Development Authority (MDA) on Monday announced the balloting date for determining allotees of plots in Scheme 45’s Taiser Town, a news source reported. The balloting process will take place on July 19.

Officials of the MDA governing body briefed Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani with regard to the balloting process.
In response, the minister directed the authority to provide accommodations in its residential projects to the affectees of Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) anti-encroachment drive.
Moreover, he sought a report on development work and provision of utility services in Taiser Town within 15 days.

As per reports, the civic agency has received 176,000 applications against 19,699 plots of various categories.
