Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will hold balloting of plots sized 10-marla and 1-kanal on March 4, an advertisement in the leading newspaper read. A total of 508 plots will be allotted to the file holders in various blocks of the scheme.

According to the advertisement, the LDA governing body made the decision under the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar. The authority has agreed to provide plots to 508 affectee file holders of the scheme. The decision to assign plots to LDA-Avenue-1 file holders has been long in waiting. In August 2021, the LDA officials reached an agreement with the Chiniot housing scheme.

Under the terms of the agreement, the former gave up 1,675 kanals of property in favour of LDA Avenue-1 and a 120-kanal farmhouse, which the LDA would convert into 100 plots. For more details, file holders can access plot data on the LDA’s official website at https://www.lda.gop.pk
