Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) conducted the 4th ballot of the LDA City Housing Scheme on February 28, news sources reported.

The fourth LDA City ballot that took place at the LDA Sports Complex in Johar Town included 1,153 commercial and residential files. The file holders of the LDA City can visit the LDA’s official website to know the result. Speaking on the occasion, LDA Director General (DG) Amir Ali Ahmad said that the authority has ensured transparency and trust at every step of the way. He said that to make it even more transparent, the authority has engaged the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for a computerised ballot. He also highlighted the location features of the project and said that the project’s prime location on Ferozepur Road will ensure a seamless approach to all urban facilities.

It is important to note that the LDA has also acquired land from the adjacent housing schemes for the development of the scheme’s Jinnah Block and commercial areas. The project is expected to be operational in the next few years with the development of the main approach road and infrastructure.
