Lahore: The Bahria Town (BT) has cautioned the general public not to invest in the falsely-advertised ‘Bahria Town-Bannu’ project. BT administration has warned its investors and the general public not to invest in the Bannu project that’s exploiting their flagship project’s logo, name, and branding to trick the people out of their hard-earned money, according to a notice published in key newspapers across the country.

According to the advertisement, BT has also filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against the imposters and managers of fake Bahria Town-Bannu. Furthermore, it has been cautioned that Bahria Town has initiated no such project in Bannu, and that there are no intentions to initiate such a project in the near future. BT has also requested that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and law enforcement authorities take necessary legal action against the unauthorised initiative. Meanwhile, the advertisement has urged the public not to invest or participate in such a scheme since BT would not accept responsibility for fraud or property loss.

In another news, Bahria Town has handed over possession of the first two towers of Bahria Heights in Karachi. The handing over ceremony was attended by Director Operations Brig Hassan Rafi and Sr General Manager Mr Zia Ur Rehman. The keys to the apartments were handed over to the owners in the ceremony. Previously, Bahria Town launched the Bahria Height project offering two-bedroom luxury apartments of 1,100 Sq ft.
