Lahore: The management of Bahria Town has warned against the illegal usage of its trademarks, designs, and logos, according to a social media post. The housing authority made this revelation through an official notification, informing the public at large that it would not allow the use of its trademarks for any type of commercial or personal activity, via social media or any other platforms.

The notification stated that Bahria Town (Pvt) Ltd strictly prohibits the misuse of its trademarks, designs, and logos without any prior agreement or permission granted by its management. It added that legal consequences would follow the misuse of such personal property.

The legal disclaimer mentioned that a number of social media pages/groups were using official logos of Bahria Town – presenting the impression that they were official partners of the brand. It warned against the use of Bahria Town’s official brand logo by such sources, along with the use of the word ‘official’.
The Bahria Town management has advised the public – all residents, stakeholders, and visitors – not to follow such unofficial services, businesses, or social media platforms for the purposes of acquiring information, and to make any deals or payments.

The notification added that the management will not be responsible for any kind of issues that may arise as a result of individuals becoming involved with such illegal/unofficial sources.
