Karachi: The Maintenance & Service Department of Bahria Town Karachi (BTK) has issued a circular to homeowners, owners, and business establishments in the housing scheme to warn them against the theft/tempering of freshly installed water meters.

The said circular was posted on January 4 (Tuesday) on the official Facebook page of Bahria Town Karachi. According to the circular, the BTK management is installing water meters at several locations.

The water meters are announced to be the property of the owner/resident after installation, and they are to be solely responsible for the safety of the meters. As a result, every meter-receiver is asked to be cautious about its working, theft attempt, and tampering. If a meter is stolen due to negligence, the owners will be responsible for the reinstallation costs.
