Tell me about it. While many refuse to acknowledge Bahria Town as one of the best developers in the country, we however give credit where it’s due. Both Bahria Town and Malik Riaz deserve all the credit for dragging Pakistani housing industry into the 21stcentury and that has earned them a lot of respect and goodwill. For this, and countless other reasons, the projects they have announced for Karachi have received an excellent reception.
Announcing an array of mega projects in a city that, presumably, had lost its lustre for many of us (because of the law and order situation there), brought Karachi back into the limelight. With these new developments, Malik Riaz has revived people’s interest in the city. Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan, also offers infinite possibilities in terms of real estate development.
The city, now several times its original size, has stretched far and wide. Home to over 13,000,000 people, and more still pouring in, Karachi is expanding in all directions and that has given birth to the need of bigger, better housing communities. Seeing this need, in stepped Bahria Town who’s projects created a frenzy amongst investors and they rushed to register themselves as members. Those who could not register in time felt tempted to buy registration slips that were being traded around. You’ve no idea just how much profit some folk generated by selling these slips.
While these slips presented an opportunity to be eligible for the balloting, many people were concerned about the legality or the authenticity of such slips. Bahria Town had earlier announced that at some point in time, it would officially begin the trade itself. And as promised, they started the process on 4th of November.
The image above, as you can see, explains the entire process, all possible charges involved, for transferring the registration slips. In conclusion, suffice it to say that with all of Bahria Town’s projects in Karachi, it has created not one or two but several money making opportunities for not just themselves but everybody related to real estate sector both in and outside of Karachi.
