In my blog post yesterday, I provided information about commercial plots that Bahria Town was supposed to offer on the land where Ittefaq Foundry is located. Bahria’s registered dealers promoted the project but, to our surprise, the developer has refuted the launch of any such project.
Please see the following notification rolled out by Bahria Town:
This notification clearly states that Bahria Town (Pvt) Ltd has not launched any project in Kot Lakh Pat and has not given any rights to property dealers to buy/sell plots in the area.
It also states that Bahria Town is not responsible for the sale/purchase of the plots in question.
Even yesterday, I mentioned in my blog post that the developer had not launched the project officially, but as Bahria’s registered dealers were promoting the project, I never expected this public notice from the developer.
Bahria Town usually sells its projects through its registered agents, who must also be stunned by this notification, as they will have to justify their claims to clients. The complete story is mysterious and I do not know what went on behind the scenes.
So, those who were planning to invest in this currently nonexistent project should hold their horses and look for other investment options.
That’s all I have to share about the project. Yes, it did seem to be a good investment move, which is why I personally recommended it, but now the project does not have any reality associated to it.
Many people also thought that if Bahria Town has acquired Ittefaq Foundry’s land, the issue of Lahore Ring Road would also be resolved sooner rather than later, but things are totally different now. Let’s just adopt a wait-and-see policy and hope for the best.
What do you think about this notification? Please share your view in the comments section below.
Very sorry.
You should not have disseminate information without authentic source and varification. You have referred “Bahria Town Official” in your post which is very contrary to their denial of any such project.
It seems that all of the zameen posts are just a speculation source and not the genuine one.
Raza Bhai,
You have raised a valid point. We at Zameen.com do proper research before disseminating information about any project. This is true that a Bahria Town official said what I quoted in the post. And when I talked to the same source yesterday, they changed their words.
We understand that it is our responsibility to provide only authentic information. If Bahria Town is denying this project, neither Zameen.com nor any of its employees nor any registered dealers of Bahria Town can be held responsible for it. What do you think?
Secondly, I have seen pictures in which one can see machinery on the site. What’s going on behind the scenes is a mystery. So, let’s see what comes out of it.
Rest assured, we are here to provide genuine information because we consider it totally unethical to misguide our readers.
That’s all I have to say about it. I hope you will understand that. And thank you for raising this point.
Regards,
zain Nadeem
With due respect Zain, unless Zameen.com was an amateur blog, your argument would hold valid but given you claim to be the leading property portal, such irresponsible claims should not have been made. Try to first authenticate your sources before you weigh in on their input!
Dealers who are advertising this project are authorized dealers of Bahria and they are running their business in Bahria, if they are doing this using Bahria’s name then Bahria should immediately cancel their dealership.
i like your comments but dear authorized dealers and bahria both are planing to
LOOOOOTTTT innocent peoples. and this is true. i have personally visited there and
saw some machinery with Bharia Town Name written on them, i have also many pics of the site showing this is bahria’s project.
You will see after some days Bahria will launge this project after settelement of registered
