Karachi: Bahria Town Karachi has announced the date to hold ballot for allocation of plots numbers for their low-cost Bahria Greens project, according to the developer’s official Facebook page. To this effect, the Bahria Town management will hold the ballot on July 27.
The notice further revealed that the development work at the project site is underway. Bahria Town CEO Malik Riaz Hussain stated that the development work was in ‘full swing’ at the ‘biggest low-cost housing scheme’ of Pakistan. Hussain Further announced that the ground breaking of Bahria Greens Model Street was held recently. The street will feature 20 model villas.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bahria Town has not disclosed the on-ground location of Bahria Greens; further claiming that the project has received an ‘over whelming’ response. The project was officially launched June 22; marking the initiation of the booking process.
The project features limited number of residential plots available in just one size i.e. 75 square yards. Since it is a low-cost scheme, the developer has allowed construction of ground plus two storey residential compounds featuring four bedrooms.

The total price of a Bahria Greens plot, as revealed by the developer, is PKR 1,675,000, and the successful applicants are required to clear the dues in 16 quarterly instalments spanning four years. The developer has committed to grant property possessions in three years.
