Karachi: The Bahria Town administration on Tuesday has issued a public notification denouncing several online portals and social media pages/accounts for violating its organizational intellectual property rights (IPRs; using the ‘trade names, trademarks, service marks, domain names – alone or in conjunction with other marks, devices, words and features’ without consent) in the pursuit of malicious intent, according to the developer’s official Facebook page.

The notice, further, states that Bahria Town is a ‘registered proprietor of various sets of IPRs associated or connected with their brand name or mark under the relevant laws’. Reiterating its caution, Bahria Town has warned the public to protect their interests and refrain from making transactions, dealings or signing contracts with the mangers of these portals under the false impression that their businesses are associated with the company in any way.
