Peshawar: Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan directed the relevant authorities to get the Bacha Khan International Airport completed within the stipulated time, according to a news source. This directive was issued during his surprise visit to the airport on Sunday.
Senator Mohsin Aziz, Senator Javed Abbasi, and officials of Civil Aviation and the Aviation Division were also present. The adviser reviewed the ongoing development work and directed that the facilities provided to the passengers must be of international standards. It was further added that a multi-storey parking would be constructed under the project, and that after completion, the airport would have the capacity to hold 1,500 passengers. The adviser focused on the provision of prime facilities in this airport due to the importance of Peshawar and its proximity to CPEC.
