Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Thursday performed the formal inauguration of the Malik Ahmad Baba Ala Dhand Dheri (Chakdara) Interchange located on the Swat Motorway, according to news sources.

The Malik Ahmad Baba Ala Dhand Dheri (Chakdara) Interchange has been recently completed and is now opened for traffic. The chief minister was given a detailed briefing about the Swat Motorway Phase–I, its progress and that it would be open for traffic by September this year. He was also informed that the work on the project is in its final stages.

Furthermore, Khan was also briefed on the progress regarding the initiation of physical work on Swat Motorway Phase-II. In response, the CM termed the completion of the project to be of high importance for the Malakand region. He was also given an aerial tour of the project’s Phase–I.
