Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has initiated a round of talks with the management of Mott McDonalds to formally award the contract for the development of the Rawalpindi Master Plan 2020-40, a news source reported.
The said firm had won the contract for the development of the master plan during the prequalification round, for which the RDA had invited expressions of interest in April earlier this year. Reportedly, Mott McDonalds will begin working on the city’s master plan once terms of reference for the initiative have been finalized. The firm is then expected to submit a draft for the plan within one year of the contract being awarded.
