Multan: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Accounting Faheem ul Haq has stated that those who do not avail the amnesty scheme will regret it, a news source reported. He said that a large number of new taxpayers will be added to the tax net.
He stated that the FBR and policymakers have done their duty by providing one more chance to declare all undeclared assets. A large amount of data is just one click away for the FBR, so no one will be able to hide their assets any longer.
He said that under the Tax Amnesty Scheme 2018, FBR has generated PKR 1 billion revenue locally and USD 300 million have been added to the national treasury in overseas revenue.
