Lahore: The Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department Punjab on Thursday (September 30) terminated the 5% rebate on property tax submission, news sources reported.
The rebate programme has reached its deadline on September 30 and from now on, the discount of 10% on paying the tax by e-pay (e-Pay Punjab) method is also slashed to 5%. From October 1, property owners who have not submitted their taxes will have to pay full tax, with only a 5% discount on the payment of tax through e-payment methods.
