Charing a meeting of the Land Record Computerisation at Civil Secretariat, Bangash expressed his concerns on the slow pace of the digitisation of the land record data. He proceeded to fix a deadline of one month for the relevant authorities to finish the process.
Meanwhile, the officials concerned briefed Bangash on the existing status of the land record computerisation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Addressing the meeting, Bangash said that the provincial government has set up service provision centres for the people, so they can receive essential services under one roof. He added that the matter of computerising the land record data was highly important. He expressed his dissatisfaction over the delays caused by the patwaris’ mafia.
Bangash directed the officials concerned to make the computerised land record data of seven villages available online, and complete the digitisation process of twelve more villages by September 12. He said that these measures would allow the people to access the records readily.
