As per the initial plan, the government authority will utilize 31,000 acres of spare land in Dera Ghazi Khan’s Sakhi Sarwar Tomb, where they plan on setting up a solar power plant (as it has been deemed the optimal location for such a setup). The energy experts and the Auqaf department are expected to conduct a joint survey in order to execute the project.

The letter states that the department owns 31,929 acres of land in Dargah Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar in Dera Ghazi Khan, and this land is non-agricultural.
