Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced to hold an open auction of commercial plots of various sizes and dimensions in the blue areas and other developed sectors of Islamabad on August 4 & 5, 2021, according to an advert shared in the national dailies today.
The open auction will be held at the Jinnah Convention Center at 10 AM. The advertisement included the special steps being taken by the CDA to facilitate the prospective investors. Some of the salient points are as follows:
• Formation of special teams to facilitate the investors and help them at each step of the process • Following the successful bid, the investor must provide 25% of the total bid amount within 30 days of the bid acceptance letter to secure the plot • 10% discount on full payment of the bid amount • Advance tax collection on Pro-rata base • The investors would be able to start construction after the full payment of the amount Building plan approval on payment of the first instalment • Ample car parking space • Participants with brochures sold in March 2021 will also be able to participate in the bidding process
As per the advert, the brochures are available from the CDA Directorate as well as selected branches of HBL, ASKARI, UBL, MCB, and the Bank of Punjab. The forms may also be downloaded from the official website of CDA
