Rawalpindi: Pakistan Post has invited applications to lease its hall and open space in the General Post Office (GPO) in Murree for setting up a restaurant, according to a publication. The companies interested in submitting an application can procure the tender forms from GPO Rawalpindi and Murree latest by July 5, 2019.
For setting up a restaurant in their Murree Office, Pakistan Post has reserved a specific space measuring 6,100 square feet of covered and 1,550 square feet of open area. The said place will be offered on a monthly rental basis, where the chosen company will be required to deposit two months’ rent as security.
As per the details shared in the publication, the offered space cannot be used for purposes other than setting up a restaurant. Furthermore, the size of the space offered for rent will not change. Other details include:
- Pakistan Post will sign a renewable 3-year lease contract with the chosen firm. The contract can be renewed for another three years with a 25% rise in monthly rental value.
- The successful applicant will not be allowed to make any structural changes or physical alterations in the building
- The firm will be solely responsible for the restaurant’s interior décor – subject to approvals from Pakistan Post
