Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to set up an appellate tribunal along with the Directorate of Immovable Property (DIP) to resolve any disputes that may arise, according to a news report. The initial draft of the summary on tribunal has been prepared and it will be sent to federal cabinet for approval after which it will be announced in a notification.
The Directorate of Immovable Property and the related institutions were to be developed under laws introduced through Finance Act 2018. The notification will be issued after the approval of summary and the institutions will become operation after positions have been filled.
