Multan: Registration and information camps have been inaugurated across Multan district to assist individuals interested in the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ program, launched by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, as reported on August 23.

As per detail, central camps are established at the DC complex and in all tehsils, offering guidance on the scheme that provides interest-free loans for home construction with easy repayment terms. Commissioner Maryam Khan and Deputy Commissioner Waseem Hamid Sindhu visited a camp in Multan to gather feedback from applicants and review the process with staff. The Deputy Commissioner urged the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHATA) to offer full support to applicants.
Commissioner Khan praised the district administration’s proactive approach and announced that similar camps are being set up throughout the Multan division, including in Khanewal, Lodhran, and Vehari. The camps will be expanded to accommodate the high volume of applicants, highlighting the scheme’s potential to benefit thousands.
