In a significant indicator of financial discipline and public confidence, loan repayments worth over PKR 9.24 crore have already been recovered under the program. Over 25,500 families have received housing loans amounting to more than PKR 27.43 billion, and second installments have been disbursed to more than 12,000 beneficiaries to continue construction.
The provincial government has also approved an additional 2,000 loans, further expanding access to the scheme. Loans under the program are being offered to plot owners in urban areas (1 to 5 marlas) and rural areas (1 to 10 marlas), with a fully online application process via acag.punjab.gov.pk.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her satisfaction with the progress, stating, “The joy of seeing each new house being built is beyond words. This is not just a housing scheme — it’s a promise fulfilled, and a source of pride for the government and the people of Punjab.”
