Lahore: Anti-encroachment operations have continued throughout Punjab, a news source reported. A large amount of government land has been retrieved and repossessed.
In Lahore, land was repossessed from an illegal taxi stand that had been formed established over an old tonga stand. An illegal building was demolished on PIA Road, and one level of a commercial building constructed without a map was also demolished. An operation was also conducted on Lohari Medicine Market, Madina Market, Shah Alam Market, and Circular Garden.
In Multan, an operation was conducted in Gol Bagh, Gulgasht to demolish a number of shops constructed on state land. In Muzaffargarh too, an operation was conducted on Mehmood Kot Road.
