Sukkur: The authorities concerned recently launched an anti-encroachment operation in a bid to improve the traffic flow in the city, a news source reported. Sukkur Mayor Irslan Islam Sheikh issued the directives to this effect.

Anti-Encroachment Branch In charge Khalid Hussain Jataoi has been tasked with the drive’s supervision. As part of the operation, the officials concerned razed illegally built structures on Queens Road. Similarly, the staff also removed and confiscated goods placed outside shops in various areas of the city.

Meanwhile, the Sukkur Municipal Corporation has begun removing illegally set up cattle markets on various roads. For this purpose, the corporation staff has started relocating animals from these illegally set up cattle markets.
