Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday demolished illegal structures in Sector E-12 of the city, a news source reported.

Officials of the Enforcement and Land & Rehabilitation Directorates carried out an operation in collaboration with the Rangers and Police personnel in the sector.
During the operation, the officials dismantled 13 rooms, one boundary wall, four washrooms, and other illegal structures. The operation will continue for the next four days.

An official said that CDA would hand over E-12 to the Sector Development Directorate for carrying out development work in the area. The directorate is already developing several portions of the sector.
