The authorities launched this drive last year, and it had recently eased off after massive operations along Kashmir Highway and E-12. The committee reiterated that it would keep the concerns of the affectees of this drive in mind. To this end, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) presented a khokha market model, which would accommodate vendors whose khokhas had been demolished during the operations. These khokhas will be issued proper licenses, and the authorities will review proper sites for them.
