Lahore: The Commissioner Inland Revenue Ayesha Imran Butt has stated that any assets declared under the Tax Amnesty Scheme 2018 will be fully protected from National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), a news source reported.
The Commissioner stated that 700,000 people had availed the Tax Amnesty Scheme 2015, while the taxes were relatively higher. This time, the taxes have been reduced and resultantly, a greater number of people have been availing the scheme.
Butt further said that this is the best opportunity to declare undeclared assets.
