Islamabad: President Alvi recently issued eight ordinances including the Enforcement of Administration of Women Property Rights Ordinance and Amended Ordinance of Benami Transaction Act 2017, a news source reported. The other six ordinances issued by the president included the following:

- Letter of Administration & Succession Certificate Ordinance
- Legal Aid & Justice Authority Ordinance
- Civil Procedure Code (CPC) Amended Ordinance
- Whistle blowers Ordinance
- Superior Courts (court dress and mode of address) Ordinance
- National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Amended Ordinance
According to the Whistle blowers Ordinance, the identity of informants will always remain secret, and the authorities concerned will provide complete protection to this individual. Additionally, the informant will receive 20% of all dues recovered during the case, and this stipulation is applicable in circumstances which involve the recovery of money, like cases related to tax evasion etc.

Under the Women Property Rights Ordinance, the departments concerned will diligently address the grievances faced by women in property matters. These departments will also focus on quickly resolving property inheritance cases involving women and their rights of inheritance. The ordinance states that officials concerned would have to resolve cases regarding the rights of affected women matters of property inheritance within two months.
