Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director-General (DG) Ahmed Aziz Tarar on Friday ordered the allotment of 623 plots in LDA Avenue-1, a news source reported. The said plots were acquired following a round of negotiations with the owners of the private land situated in the project’s G and K blocks.

DG Aziz Tarar recently visited Jubilee Town Scheme and Avenue-1 and presided over a meeting to discuss the affairs of Avenue-1 society. Other senior officials including Chief Engineer Habib Ul Haq Randhawa, Director Estate Management Fahad Anis, and Additional Director-General (ADG) Urban Planning Rana Tika Khan were also present on the occasion.

DG Tarar directed the officials concerned to initiate tree-plantation campaigns in the parks of Jubilee Town and the Avenue-1 scheme. He further reviewed other initiatives such as map approvals introduced at the Avenue-1 site office.

He stated that precautionary measures should be strictly implemented to check the spread of coronavirus. DG Aziz Tarar was briefed regarding the development work in Avenue-1, including the provision of water, gas, electricity, and sewerage connections.
