Lahore: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has notified its Phase XIII (DHA City) members with regard to the availability of new allocation letters for collection, news source reported. According to the official notification, the society management had initiated the transfer process on August 1.
Previously, the Supreme Court had ordered the DHA management to take over the administrative control of Phase XIII (formerly known the ‘DHA City Project’) to facilitate the society’s plot development efforts.

The SC further directed that the DHA City would become a project of the DHA and shall constitute its phase XIII (13). In a follow-up to the SC order, the management verified the plot claims of the file owners and issued new allocations letters.

The case of this housing had remained stalled for several months prior to the verdict of the SC; which was issued on January 1, 2019.
