Lahore: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will inaugurate the Allama Iqbal Industrial City in Faisalabad during the first week of October, a news source reported.

Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) Chairman Mian Kashif recently made this announcement during a media briefing.
He said that the proposed facility would be equipped with modern infrastructure and features for both local and foreign investors, besides giving impetus to economic activities.
He added that the Allama Iqbal Industrial City was being constructed near Sahianwala Interchange on the motorway (M3) under the umbrella of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Kashif said that this new industrial city will generate employment opportunities. He added that various industrial units, which are operating in various localities of the city, would be shifted to the industrial city after its completion.
